May 2007: Requestec facilitate user-generated content upload via 3G mobile phones

Already able to contribute SMS and MMS messages to TV shows, viewers of sumo.tv are now able to submit video clips to the TV show and website by video calling 07888333014.

The Requestec platform allows media companies to advertise 3G video numbers (either long "07" numbers or 5-digit video short codes) which viewers need to video dial in order to see themselves appear on TV, the web or any digital display.

A great way for:

• viewers to interact more fully with media brands
• brands to generate more revenue
